BEX BURCH

UK-born, Berlin-based composer, percussionist, producer and instrument maker Bex Burch has employed percussion and hand made xylophones to carve out a unique sonic space for herself. Her restless creativity and desire to embrace new musical challenges across a range of percussive instruments has seen her recorded music straddle the divergent worlds of avant-garde, post punk, and improvisation with equal success. Burch has previously released as part of Boing! with Leafcutter John (their debut was Guardian Contemporary Album of The Month), and with the critically acclaimed Strut-released Flock with Londoners including Sarathy Korwar and The Comet Is Coming’s Danalogue. She also runs the band and label Vula Viel and has collaborated with artists from Peter Zummo to Dame Evelyn Glennie.

MEJIWAHN

Oakland producer Mejiwahn liquifies lo-fi hip-hop, jazz, psychedelia, bossa nova and Ennio Morricone soundtrack work into a potent brew. Assembling sounds from near and far off places, he creates a unique live set of collaged loops, weaving the listener through a tangled web of nostalgia.

Collaborations include Liv.e, Salami Rose Joe Louis, Melanie Charles, Shungu, Hrlum, Zeroh, Lojii, and Pink Siifu.

SHUNGU​

Innovative beat maker Shungu. Beatsmith and DJ ShunGu has been dropping spiritual beats in Brussels since 2011. Further cementing himself in the music scene as an eclectic producer with 10 years of experience on the famous MPC almost every day. His alter ego Senga is used for his more electronic groovy house style. Sampling and music-making are part of his daily life. He worked with Pink Siifu, Navy Blue, Fly Anakin, Fatima, Rejjie Snow, Quelle Chris, Chester Watson, Liv.e, Dreamcastmoe and C.S Armstrong to name a few.
